Dr. Anna E. Barón is a Professor of Biostatistics in the Department of Biostatistics and Informatics of the Colorado School of Public Health. As an applied biostatistician she has over 30 years of experience collaborating with researchers in a number of areas including cancer prevention, cardiology, health services research, cross-cultural psychiatry, diabetes, and HIV/AIDS prevention. She is an expert in discriminant analysis and survival analysis and teaches introductory and advanced biostatistics courses. Dr. Barón mentors MS and PhD students in biostatistics, MPH students, and PhD students in epidemiology and clinical science and is also a mentor to junior faculty in community and behavioral health, and oncology.
